Course Description:

Since 1960...Over the years, Bayview Golf & Country Club has been host to leaders of business and noted individuals from the world of sports and entertainment. The world's best female golfers graced Bayview's fairways in 1968 and again in 1969 with the Supertest Ladies' Open Golf Championship. Thus began a chronology of hosted events including the Ontario Open, CPGA Championship, Ontario PGA Seniors, CPGA Ladies' Championship, GAO Junior-Juvenile Championship and CJGA Nike Championship.

In 2007, a first for Canadian golf, Bayview is home to both the Royal Canadian Golf Association President Garry West and Canadian Professional Golf Association President Warren Crosbie.

Currently listed among Score Magazine's Top 100 Courses in Canada, the 18-hole, walkable, par 72 course meanders over gently rolling terrain, through the trees and around water features. Designed by Canadian Golf Hall of Fame architect, Robbie Robinson, and renovated by Doug Carrick, Bayview is renowned for impeccable conditioning and strategic challenges. Five sets of tees, ranging from 5,400 to 7,100 yards, allow players to choose the appropriate challenge to match their game. Large, subtle greens that appear friendly and still befuddle the most experienced members make every round unique. A frequently heard comment from first time players and those who haven't played Bayview in years is, "I had no idea what a great golf course this is" supporting the notion that Bayview is one of the best kept secrets in the GTA. Located just minutes from the 401, 404 and 407 highways on the northern border of Toronto, the club is easily accessible from a wide area.
